I did it two years ago. So it seems that there's nobody else that's doing IT Apps this year with you.

(nah, there are at least a few users doing ITA that I know of, if you start posting up new threads and stuff with questions you might find that activity will grow from there :P)

Hello there fellow ITA-er.

I am also doing ITA this year. My teacher isn't really doing much and I don't really know much about the content because it's really hard to find anything (except on this fantabulous forum of course).
As I make notes I can send them your way if you want. Also open to accepting help ;)

Wishing you well,
~Kurticus

Awesome. How'd you go on your first SAC? Yet to get mine back yet, but I received an average grade.

My class hasn't got our SofDev sac marked yet, or the Apps one :( I really want to know!

Did you start with databases? They are horrible.

I got 42/50 which I'm not very happy about, My website was top notch but my theory was a let down and I got 35/40 on Softdev

still very good result but the exam end of the year would be the most important for your study score.

If anyone needs practice sacs let me know.

I did IT apps last year.

I made the mistake of not studying the subject at all since the SACs were so easy, and flawed me from getting a high A+ instead of the lower A+ I got. For anyone doing the subject, treat it as any other subject even though it's piss easy.

Agree so much.
The exams seem fairly easy though. Most of it can be answered through common sense/general knowledge too, however, study is also required for a lot of questions too.

I'm a bit late here, but Hi everyone! I'm also doing IT:Apps.

Even though U3AOS1 was worth 50 marks, our teacher marked it out of 40, I got 39/40 which I'm not sure what that is out of 50, 97.5% though.

I'm jealous of all of you who are able to do both apps and SD, my school doesn't offer SD, such a letdown since apps is soooo boring.

No, we just moved onto them. We're going so sloowly in Apps and SD! It is really disappointing. My teacher barely knows anything about databases and I've read up and we aren't even getting taught the stuff in the study design so I'm just doing what is required in class and learning everything from VCEIT. (great site incase you didn't know).

As far as the website SAC went, we haven't got that marked yet but I am really happy with how I went. I did a lot of the theory although my website was not as good as it could have been. I thought it more important to get absolutely everything down pat with the theory and think I did well :) I will post my result when I get it though.
Should also get my SD SAC back this week.

I'll take you up on that ;)
