Definitions help SAC

Hey guys

Have a SAC tomorrow. Are the questions always application type questions? This is Unit 2 btw.

Also, would it be correct to say:

Community- composed of all the different populations of organisms living within the same niche
Population- the number of organisms of the same species living within the same niche
Vernalisation- refers to a plant's ability to flower in spring after prolonged cold of winter... or is it the subjection of seeds to cold in order to quicken germination/flowering? or both?

What else... ???

Thanks

Instead of niche, I think you should say ecosystem.

Some schools do unit 2 then 1, because unit 1 leads into unit 3 nicely.

When I did Bio 1+2 through Distance Ed last year, I did unit 2 before unit 1 because they recommended it highly and I think it was a good decision that I made. Unit 1 has some relevant content for unit 3 (e.g. biomacromolecules, water, cell structure/organelles, cellular respiration and photosynthesis), as well as a prelude to unit 4 looking at mitosis and binary fission.
