Depends on the strength of your cohort (just saying average is very vague) - no one can tell you what you'll get. If you got low 90's average in an average cohort, I assume this would be ranked somewhere near the top? Then again, depends on how hard your school marks. I'm not familiar with Lit but you would need pretty close to full marks for a 45+ SS I would assume..
If you're aiming to full-mark the exam then you'd probably need to be the best in your cohort (fullmarking a vcaa exam is very very difficult).
Well, I don't really know how to describe it but I think most of the marks we get is 80% and above, some obviously better than others, but only probably one to three people. My teacher is a VCAA assessor and I think she's a fair marker. I know that I deserve what I get.
Alright, I'll see if I can aim for full marks. It's very difficult, I know but it isn't impossible.
Well you can certainly hit SS40+ but in my personal opinion 37-41 however it depends how high your 40 would be if the people above you do poorly in the exam can result you getting a study score less than 40. But if a few full mark it and a few come close to full marks then you may in for a chance of SS of 45+. In most circumstances full marks will guarantee a 45+ but sometimes depending on the circumstance losing a few marks can still net a 45+. I hope this has answered your question
So everything really comes down to the strength of the cohort? So above ranked people if they do poorly will affect my study score being less than 40? But these above ranked people score near full marks or full marks in the exam, I could have the chance to achieve an SS of 45+?
I think I get it, but how do you judge your cohort's strength. I really don't think we're the greatest writers. There are one or two people who write well but other than that, everyone seems to be getting mid 80s.
Oh, if I were to ask my rank, how should I phrase it? My teacher is a morning person and she's almost always sleepy during our class time. Another question, how is ranking worked out? Is it just about the highest score for SACs, average or what?
I'm sorry for bombarding you with questions but I'm an unsure kitten.
