Small classes affect study score?

My economics class this year is really small. Only 3 people are in the class. Would small class sizes effect my study score or subject score? Because scaling is done by the strength of the cohort and how hard it is to overtake other people taking the subject, so does that mean if I get rank 1 in a class of 3, I would receive a lower study or subject score compared to someone who got rank 1 in a class of 40 (assuming exam results are the same and also are no.1 in the class).

Just want to make sure I won't be penalised for something out of my control like a small class. I'm aiming for mid to high A+ for everything in eco if it matters for this question.

Thanks :)
