LOL. Nope. I like English.

No I meant, you were making seem as though you never forgot about English as in the language, not the subject, lmao.

Well sorry and anyway I don't see the big deal about the + and -... Unless that's how you get respect?

Why would you think that? This whole thread is about VCE English, not English in general.

Yes, it is. You're on -2 respect at the moment, and if you keep accusing everyone of trolling when they give you honest answers, then you can expect it to get a lot lower.

Just thought I would add my opinion.
I enjoy English, I do methods, chemistry and physics. These three subjects at times I feel like it's 'here's a question' and 'here's the only right answer' sure there are different ways to get to it but in the end you get to the one solution. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy Chemistry and Methods. However, I feel free in English, I feel that immersing myself in the subject has allowed me to enjoy much more, you know there is never the one 'right' answer, there are just so many possibilities and I like that. I enjoy how the writing is three different sections, something different. I don't neglect English at all, I must say. I give my full attention but maybe that's because I enjoy it.  :)

Well I was another forum before (4chan) and 90% of replies are just 'troll' replies lmao.

Anyway I'm sorry lol, I'll give you a thumbs up like on Facey!

^ fair enough.

I can see where you're coming from; it's definitely not irrational to think that random, anonymous people online are 'trolling' (edit: particularly after exposure to that 4chan website  :P ) you. However, I'm sure you've learnt by now, after viewing heaps of threads and starting threads of your own, that ATARnotes is an online community which sincerely does try to help people out.

Perhaps less cynicsm in the future...?  :)

sarcasm right?
Man guide to a 48 right there severely reject the subject then regret it afterwords.

haha! The point I'm trying to make is that it's obviously far better to prepare for English throughout the year than to wing it on the day of the exam.

It might sound a bit dickish, but I think in hindsight that it's possible that I could have gotten a 50 if I'd actually knuckled down and done some work.

S'all good man :). /b/ does... Things.
(This really did blow up) - I just wanted to say that I was just taking the piss (re: seal claps comment) and didn't mean to be too caustic.

Alon; ofc you could have :p. I look at my exam score sometimes and wish I ranked higher and isn't screw the exam - my school would've had two!

If I was in your position I would care f***all about the English study score. I guess its the fact knowing you scored a 56/60 on the exam.. amongst the highest of scores consolidates the fact that you're good at English and have the knowledge required to be able to be an English teacher.

If I somehow scored a 48 in English (glitch of course) I would book the next trip to New Zealand and parachute off a mountain just to release all my happiness.

I like the idea side of English but vce english sucks. Over 100 essays written and 12 trial exams and its one of my lowest scores... I don't get what they want. But then again the openness of the subject is what makes it enjoyable. I would prefer a more LSAT style english exam instead :).
