Best way to catch up...?

Ok, so I've not done much work this year for Methods 3+4 (I get sick easily....and distracted easily...  :-[), and I'm looking to catch up. I'm willing to put the hours of work in... but looking at my textbook (with examples that are kinda hard to understand), checkpoints, and heaps of notes from teacher/internet/friends...... I just don't know where to begin. I know that it'd be pretty impossible for me to get 40+, but if I could at least get the pre-req of 25, it'd be really really awesome!

Suggestions for where to start? :)

Step 1) Get a tutor.
Step 2) Do as many practise problems as you can
Step 3) Get tutor to help you with all the practise problems you can't do.

1. I agree with the tutor thing
2. Probably have some people on your msn and stuff that can help you out with questions that you get wrong. ( A lot of people here are generally willing to help)
3. Do a bit of work everyday,  ( maybe 1 exercise a day?) and you'll catch up quickly.

Step 4) Ask your teacher at school/friends for help, sacrifice a lunchtime to learn or something
Step 5) Post your questions on VCEnotes.com/forum if your tutor isn't clear

And use your time effectively. If you understand a concept, don't just keep doing entire exercises in chronological order. Firstly, it doesn't really help with much at all except speed (I'd leave that 'til pre-exam period), and worse, secondly, it lulls you into a false sense of security that you understand the concept when all you're really doing is copy-pasting the method you learnt from the example to every question on the page. Problem is, next time an analysis question comes up, you'll have no idea what to do. As for the whole understanding a concept thing, I guess that's why tutors are for. Doing it over VN or MSN will probly get a bit hectic since you really do need to ask questions for this kind of thing, and it's kind of hard to get all the details you need in this sort of environment.
