Hi guys, just doing a bit of practice for first year introductory physics cos the topics r nearly the same (except we cover vce physics in like 1 semester)

neway Q10 of the Unit 2 exam last year, the assessment report says it flows from QP, i think PQ, they say that the induced magnetic field has to go into the page, but with the right hand rule I get a clockwise current, not anticlockwise?

any help would be appreciated

The change in flux is out of the page, so the loop will create an induced field into the page (opposite direction) so that the net flux is constant (Lenz's Law).

By the right hand rule I get current from Q to P...

Remember that the flux of the induced field into the page is INSIDE the square loop.
