i've got a few questions:
Do universities check your yr 11 results? (more specifically melb uni)
how many units of yr 11 +12 subs do u have to pass to pass VCE and get an ENTER? , would 9 subjects for yr 11 (but gettin N for 2 of them-not english) + passing 6 yr 12 subjects be ok?

i ask this as at my school, in year 10, we were forced to do a really gay yr 11 subject which i hated so i couldnt be bothered trying in it.
im worried that universities will look at my record and it will affect my chances of gettin in.
I own at all my other subjects tho.

year 11 = jack shit
16 units to pass VCE
including 1 and 2.

No one cares about year 11. Pretty useless.
9 - 2 = 7 subjects passed => 14 units considering you did units 1 and units 2 for each.
6 year 12 subjects = 12 units (six unit 3, six unit 4)

14 + 12 = 26 ... lol I think you've passed VCE mate.

but will unis care about the failure of the 2 yr 11 subs?

They only care about ENTER score, and your study score for any prereq subjects.
They never so much as glance at Yr11 subject results...

they will only look at your unit 1/2 subjects if they are a pre-requisite/middle band entry subject. eg. there are a number of courses that require unit 1/2 mathematics

EDIT: but not a pre-requisite/middle band subject at 3/4 level

But isn't that only if you didn't do 3/4 maths?

I was under the impression that they check back to grade 1, wtf was I studying so hard for in grade 1 then, shit. I had to put in like 2 hrs a night in grade 1
