how much does your sacs matter in terms of study score? and does it help if you are the best in your school?

SAC ranks are very important. If you're rank 1 and smash the exam you're setting yourself up for a great score.

If you don't do well on SACs you'll probably get a not so great ranking and your SAC scores would be low thereby you won't get a result as high as if you were rank 1. (Unless you go to a very very good school where a lot of people get >40.
