Q5 was B, just derped it up in general XD
Q24 was C, because there is no shape "0"
Q25 was D, because there are 4 options, and one is the example hexagon.

I felt a bit derpy after that. Also you guys were right for 67, don't know what I was thinking when I said A. :/

How did you get B for question 5?
And what was the answer for question 67?

67 A?
no.5
if we make pattern 1 to 7
we need 28 blacks n 56 whites..if we wan to make 1 to 8 , we need 36 blacks and 84 whites..so it cant be 8

For question 5, I thought you'd get to 56 white counters (when x=6), and it was therefore impossible to fully complete option 7.

The only patterns I made during the GAT were fancy shapes when filling in the circles on the MC sheet. Good times.

that's what i thought at first..then i realised in pattern 1 there's 0 white.. so it's 7 ..

But how does that make a difference? If you take that into consideration;

Pattern 1 - 1/0
Pattern 2 - 2/3
Pattern 3 - 3/6
Pattern 4 - 4/10
Pattern 5 - 5/15
Pattern 6 - 6/21

Add all the whites up and you have 55, if the next pattern requires 28 whites, it's still impossible.

I don't know if I'm not understanding something simple... ahha

As a general question, If I did bad on the Humanities/Arts/Social Sciences section, will it affect anything, seeing as I do no subjects which fall into that category? :? I screwed up big time with those questions. Also did pretty horrendously in the writing section, but not fussed about English this year anyway. :/

Please and thanks for any/all replies. :)

Just wondering for Question 15, how did people get B as the answer? I thought that the paint only discoloured when chromium reacted with sulfate and/or barium. If there is no chromium in sample v, how can the chromium react with sulfate/barium?

Well, doing this again now, the table I get is:
Pattern Number - (Black/White)
P1 - 1/0
P2 - 2/1
P3 - 3/3
P4 - 4/6
P5 - 5/10
P6 - 6/15
P7 - 7/21
P8 - 8/28
When you add all whites up to P7, you get 56.
If you go up to P8, you get 84 white counters. They've specified that there's only 70 available. :/

Just a protip guys: you'e all MUCH better off going back to VCE study rather than worrying about the answers to a test that doesn't really matter anyway :P ;)
