Transferring credit

hey, hypothetically say that you wanted to transfer courses from uni A to uni B.
And say you completed 8 unit subjects at uni A.
4 of those subjects are equivalent to the ones offered by uni B.
So, you can transfer credit only for those 4 subjects.

But let's say you got poor marks on all the unit subjects from uni A which are not equivalent to those offered by uni B.
Would those poor marks show up in the new transcript that you would get when you graduate from uni B?

Thanks

If you don't apply for credit for those units then they won't show up on your transcript.

Depending on where you're going the marks shouldn't show up on your transcript for anything whether you credit it or not.
You just get 'advanced standing' with no mark so your GPA for first year would just be based on what you did at Uni B alone.

So, the only benefit that transferring credit does is that it allows you to graduate from your degree at the new institution your transferring to more quickly based on what you have done at your previous course at the other institution and if you did poorly in some subjects from your previous uni, the marks also won't show in your new transcript even if you transfer credit for those as well?

I'm going to say 'yes', however, if you were presenting to see an employer they might be interested to know what your grades were in that terminated course.
So no, it doesn't count towards your GPA if you transfer the credit.
But for eg. when I went for an interview a little while ago I had to provide details about marks in my terminated course and it has 0% to do with what I do now (bar breadth).
