so I had a methods analysis sac which has 3 parts I did the first 2 parts today. I was happy with the first part but for the second part I ran out of time due to unable to effectively  use the calculator. What really upset me was I knew how to  answer these questions. I was so upset that I actually went home early and cried pretty much the whole day. I was wondering do you guys have any advice or simmilar experinces. Please help me I really don't know what to do.

How frustrating is it doing that in the actual exam? Yes that's me...I'm still wondering why I set my calculator in degrees before the exam...

Yeah one time I finished early for a methods sac and for some reason at the end when I was checking my answers I realised that I missed a whole two pages of marks (no idea how that happened). I was gutted.

I know it sounds hard but you've just got to pick yourself back up again, just remember that your sac doesn't only count towards your marks! Just remember to practice some timed past papers before the 2013 methods exam and you'll do fine :)

I had quite similiar experience, let's just say my classmate got 2% higher than me in a SAC (I have literally been studying 24/7 for a week before that) and it felt unfair because she got a whole question wrong yet somehow still got higher than me. Like you, I was upset the WHOLE entire day, I was crying for quite awhile, because it kinda felt like "Why the hell do I study so hard for? What's the point of all this studying when I don't achieve top marks?" I just felt like giving up, because when you work so hard on something, you expect great things in return. But you know what? It's just a SAC, if you don't know how to use your CAS properly -then practice, because you will get better soon. What I'm trying to say; is it's okay to feel sad and hopeless, but it's a very important year for all of us, and when we fail, we get back up and improve  ourselves no matter how many times we fail. Hope this helps :) Don't feel sad!

Still got one part to go man, ace that and ur average wont be bad :). Bad things happen in life, it put you down but just keep fighting and climb up again. Ur a hard worker after all, don't sit there and cry, that's just wasting time, study for the next part and make sure you do well. Practise using ur calculator as well, so you don't screw up again.
You know I missed two whole double sided application questions on the yr 10 maths exam? Got everything else right instead of a A+ I got a B, I just laughed it off, everyone make mistakes, but you learn from them so you don't make it again.
Hope this helped.

Must admit I was pretty shattered after I got 87.5% for an economics exam as all marks I lost aside from 1 were silly mistakes. I used the disappointment as incentive to try harder in economics and make sure there is absolutely no chance I would ever make silly mistakes like them again. Over the month or so leading up to the next SAC I studied a bit almost every night and on the SAC I just got back, 98% (I was so happy, I literally felt like jumping out of my seat in the middle of class), flawless aside from one mark I ran out of time on.

My point is, use your disappointment and instead of making it a negative, turn it into a positive and make sure you iron out the issue which causes you to lose marks.
