I'm assuming that the black box remains in the same spot (logically because it is the biggest block, and it can't hide behind anything).

Then I see that the white box alternates between being in front of the black box, and then one space to the right of the black box. This means that for the middle shape, the white box will be in front of the black box.

This leaves A, B and D. And I think you can understand it from here.

Whats relpos if you dont mind me asking?

when there is no constant background shape to compare the movement of the shapes with. Therefore you have to pick and paralyse one of the blocks to use that in comparison with all the other blocks. It does not matter which one you pick, but there are some shapes that are wiser to pick.

1. the biggest shape, as it cannot be overlapped
2. the shape with the highest order of overlapping heirarchy, meaning it will always overlap all other shapes

the corollary of the first two rules is simple - pick a shape, any shape, but one which you can see all 5 times or one which you know where exactly it is located all 5 times

Can anyone please help with this one. I can't figure out the answer between A,B,D and E. The answer, btw, is apparently B.

The entire set of shapes move clockwise 4 places, then 3...2...1. The shapes will end up in the top left corner.

The shapes are also rotating clockwise by 90 degrees each time. By the fifth stage of the series, the shapes will end up in the original orientation.

The round rectangles are also moving to the top. In the first stage, the first rectangle is on top. In the second stage, the third rectangle moves to the top. In the third stage, the second rectangle moves to the top. 4th stage- 4th rectangle. The pattern is 1,3,2,4...3

Therefore, in the fifth stage, the third rectangle will move to the top.
