Hope it all went well!
Just to concentrate all thoughts and feelings into one thread.
Questions for thought:
Was it what you expected?
No, I was expecting to get completely destroyed in those three hours. I guess it was easier than I thought, but it's hard to know with these sorts of things.
How do you think you went (modesty aside)?
Better than I thought. It still won't be anywhere near cutoffs, but I'm hoping that I might be somewhere in the middle in terms of percentiles.
Was it different to whatever prep you did? How?
The little preparation that I did was useful because I at least had some ideas on how to tackle a question. I guess I feel a bit guilty as that probably means that I could have done fantastic if I had actually done more than two practice papers in February.
How did it compare to the ACER papers? Same format?
I didn't do them. -.- LOL
How did you find the venue and the seas of Asians and Indians/Lankans?
As I live close to the venue, I was very familiar with its layout. Although, they should have put up signs so people knew which queue to join. The 'sea' of Asians and Indians/Lankans was of no significance to me.
Before the test were you nervous/excited/etc? How did you overcome this?
I just felt calm because I knew that this result doesn't really matter for me. If anything, I was probably a bit amused simply because I had done nothing for it and was expecting the absolute worst.
Post test, feeling relieved/anxious/etc?
I feel normal I guess. Perhaps a bit happy given that I exceeded my own expectations.
Did anything funny happen during the test worth sharing?
Yeah, a kid from my school who I was lining up with held up the whole ground floor from starting the test for an hour or so because he didn't bring the right ID. XD
