how would i solve this on classpad
given that

i entered this on my cas and received an error message

You've closed the bracket for the solve function too early.

Firstly, your rightmost close bracket should be between the "a" and the "|" rather than on the left of the comma.

Secondly, it has no solution over that domain :P

Ah, kanon got in first, I'll leave this due to the second sentence in case you run into trouble with that :)
