Choosing what book to write on for the exam

Hey guys,
So like a lot of others, I'm also studying both Twelve angry men and the reluctant fundamentalist. I've had my sacs for both already, and even though I was happy with my scores for both, I just cannot bear to write another essay on the reluctant fundamentalist.

I've been thinking about both novels and trying to decide which one I'd be more leaning towards preparing for and writing on if all goes well, and here are some pros and cons for both:
The reluctant fundamentalist
Pros:
- Not as popular, which means not as much competition
- So much in it to talk about

Cons
-  I remember struggling so much with every practice essay I wrote, and they usually took me far longer than normal because I'd find myself going off into tangents while writing my essay, which would leave me procrastinating for so long haha.
- There's just too much in there in terms of quotes, themes, etc. and it's just really hard for me to properly cover everything to prepare myself for any situation
- The types of essay topics are really weird
- Just a generalisation, but it's usually those who are more familiar with the novel/daring enough to use it who end up writing on it, which means that a lot of 'smart' people end up doing it.. Im not saying everyone else is dumb, just making a generalization

Twelve angry men
Pros
- ASDFGHJKLgsjehfuwbYYgsjYdne I HAVE NEVER LOVED STUDYING ANYTHING AT SCHOOL MORE THAN THIS TEXT
- Its not as long as trf, so I can afford to read it several times before the exam
- The essay topics aren't as weird
- Its short, so there's less stuff to study/memorise

Cons
- Its such a popular text at schools, so this may potentially disadvantage me since there's a larger number of people doing it??
- I can't think of any other reason really.

So as you can see, I love twelve angry men waaaay more, but I'm just scared by the fact that it'll be harder for me to score better. I know this shouldn't stop me, but it's really concerning me. So can someone please help?

Thanks :)
