unit 3/4, without 1&2?

I'm thinking of picking up global politics in year 12 as it was not offered this year.
The only subject I am willing to drop for it though is maths, as I cannot drop English and I really enjoy Legal, Sociology & Psych.
I know maths is pretty important but I really do not enjoy it, I'm one of the best in my maths class but I put no effort into it as i do not enjoy. My other subjects how ever I love and I feel like this subject would compliment it.

So, is this subject hard to do without unit 1 & 2? Also, it sounds like it covers a lot of what I have done in legal what else does it cover?
Is the work load for this class big? I also keep pretty well on top of my work, but I don't want to overwhelm myself next year with everything.. I am aim for a pretty good atar, but not expecting miracles.

Nobody does 1/2 glopol. And by nobody, I mean I still haven't encountered a single soul, online or otherwise, do did 1/2 glopol. You'll be fine.
