It's about ~2:30-:45 2:45am on SBS/The World Game. Actual announcement is at 3am though apparently, so the gap will just be useless talking, as usual with SBS...

Cricket's got their thread. FIFA deserves one IMO. Appears to be lots of supporters on AN, good to see cultural unity through the sport  :D

they did a rehearsal draw last night to make sure everything's prepared, and australia ended up in group A with brazil, france and italy. so basically whatever happens in the real one, it surely can't be worse than that :P

Yep that one...I didn't play the first game unfortunately but I was a die-hard fan of the medieval series...I'm really loving the small details in city management and diplomacy..And Spartans are just great..I made an alliance with Macedon and wiped Athens out...They stabbed me in the back after I attacked Pontus haha :)

That is so insanely true, not just a stereotype. The thing is, you have to say no because you are full, but each dish they offer is delicious and the cycle just continues...
On that note, has anyone ever had Krowki? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kr%C3%B3wki They are fantastic!
Confirmed, are fantastic.

We're the second lowest ranked team in the contest, no draw is an easy draw :(.

I think we already have an association football thread but it waxes and waynes really.

I could never really get into the total war series. For most people the combo of RTS and turn based works but i just feel like it disrupts the flow of the game. Plus, the turnbased stuff is boring as shit (at least in the original rome and medieval II, havent played the new ones) compared to games like Civ V.
