I'd mix it up between the two, I think doing the MAV can keep you on your toes thought wise, whilst insight is obviously requisite for similar practice. If you're REALLY stuck for time, then I'd do insight.

I'd agree with this. Good luck! I'm just doing VCAA exams now.
