Deakin Commerce requires no maths....

Hey guys, I love economics and the theory however maths is not my strong point and I didn't complete a maths 3/4.
How come most of the higher tiered universities require methods however swinburne and deakin don't require maths at all?
I would be interested in doing commerce in a double degree, however I think my maths would let me down..
Any suggestions or experiences or explanations?

depends on what you major in, some commerce disciplines require rigorous training in mathematics, others not so much.
PhD @ MIT (Economics).

Interested in asset pricing, econometrics, and social choice theory.

I'm thinking in majoring in e-commerce or commercial law.
Would you be able to outline any majors that don't require rigorous training in mathematics?
Cheers mate
