Thought the identity and belonging prompt was somewhat tough. What did people think?

The imaginative landscape prompt was slightly different to what I had been preparing for.
Think it still went okay.

I thought it was a brilliant prompt for those writing creatively, very open-ended; shame that Bruce Dawe's Sometimes Gladness is no longer on the VCAA book list, it was the perfect text for this (and every I+B) prompt.

Yes. I had a bit of trouble but I think I went ok. It was probably the hardest one since 2008.

Yeah it was a creative goldmine, but harder for kids doing expository I thought.

The Whose Reality? prompt was quite different, but I still found it good. I predominantly used historical examples that resulted in some sort of physical or emotional damage for ourselves and others, and highlighted briefly why losing one's reality may not necessarily be a bad thing, for a short period of time anyway. For those that don't have access to the paper, the prompt was:

Quote
Losing touch with our reality is often dangerous.

Fair enough, but I still reckon it's manageable from an expository perspective.

I hope no one tried a persuasive piece, I would have struggled a lot with that. (N.B. Least objective statement of the exam period, what up)

Identity and belonging prompt was a field trip for my imaginative piece.

I explored a number of concepts around it. Section B went smoothly.

Do you think it was wrong that I did a paragraph on ageing for Identity? I heard assessors are quite old.. It wasn't derogatory.
