For piece of mind sure, but I called VCAA before (I forgot to shade two of the boxes) and although they said it'll be fine, if I wanted piece of mind, you have to get your VCE coordinator to email the lady who can rectify this (I can PM you the email if you want, most likely your school already has the email and they only read official school emails anyway)

Oh okay great, I'll ask her to do that tomorrow - thank you! :)

The boxes to be shaded actually helped me to make sure to ensure that I wrote each of my pieces in the correct sections of the Answer Book. Otherwise in the situation with exam pressure, I would have written in all sorts of different places. HAHA!

I forgot to fill in the box of how many booklets I used?

:-[ Do you think it will matter if I left the box blank. I wrote that the booklet I used was 1 but didn't answer the number of booklets used. Btw I only used one? :(

Don't worry about it.

If you used 2 books, I would recommend you telling your VCE Coordinator or VCAA straight away to make sure that they know you used two Answer Books. But if you used 1 Book, nothing can really happen.

So don't stress about it. :)

I don't think it matters. Your paper gets scanned so I'm sure that an Examiner will notice that there is a tick instead of a shaded box.

If you're worried about it, let your VCE Coordinator know or call VCAA tomorrow. :)

You guys aren't giving the examiners enough credit! As soon as they read the first sentence of your essay, they'll know which text you wrote on. It's such a silly thing to be worrying about, you have to put it out of your mind!

Hello everyone
Bit off-topic but someone on this thread mentioned that you can call up VCAA to ask about your english exam, and I just wanted to make sure that I can just call up and tell them the problem? (this is about the way they wrote my name on the english exam btw)

Thanks

Yeah, just call VCAA. :) You could get your VCE Coordinator to do it as well if you don't feel comfortable doing it.

Was your name spelt wrong?

I'm sure it will be fine. Different subject but my friend actually left the whole mcq sheet blank in Psych last year even though she had answered them all in the other book (I guess she circled them) and she just let her teacher know and they just looked at her book and yeah I guess they were very lenient about it :) I hope she doesn't see this, sorry for sharing your story LOL

Haha she was too busy focusing on answering the questions and she just circled them on the question booklet (maybe used to it from SACs) then times up and she realises her whole MC sheet is blank. I FELT FOR HER MAN. So glad they let her fix it (she got 47 in the end!!!)

Oh LOL! When did she realise that she didn't fill it in? After "pens down" was called or someone told her?
