What did people put for the extended response question asking whether EMG, EEG and EOG recordings are qualitative or quantitative? I put qualitative, but I'm not too sure anymore

Same, but that's only 1 reason. I put consolidation theory as my 2nd reason but I don't think I explained it very well..

What about the three reasons why it is operant not classical? Might have stuffed that one up :(

I didn't write about consolidation because it didn't say if he went to bed immediately.... doesn't consolidation take approximately 30 minutes?

I stuffed up the one about the brain where that table had time for responses to the flashing of objects. I thought it was about Split Brain Surgery. Oops

For criticisms of aversion I out 1. Over generalization 2. Conditioned responds tends to be extinguished by unconditioned stimulus is no longer presented

I put quantitative and I'm not sure either :/

For aversion therapy question I used retroactive interference and consolidation theory as well!

Operant vs classical my points of difference were:
1. automatic/reflexive response are typically used in classical conditioning but barking is a voluntary behaviour and learner is passive in classical but the dog was active in the learning process
2. consequence/reinforcement was used (unique to operant conditioning)
3. stimulus comes before the response (antecedent stimulus that is) vs stimulus coming after the response in classical conditioning

And I put qualitative for the EEG, EOG, EMG data; thought initially that it was quantitative but really they are describing the brain waves etc. aren't they? E.g. presence of theta waves in sleep- that's qualitative data?

I think I wrote:
- the person (again, I've forgotten the name) yelling at Raffi was a voluntary behaviour
- the person was active in the learning process

I've forgotten the third thing I wrote. What did you write?

Yeah that's why I put qualitative as well, but I think it might be because we look at the amplitude and frequency of the brain waves and that's quantitative.

What did you guys put for SA Q3? The one about learning French when young and then again when older.

I didn't like the wording of it.

It was quantitative becauses remember those devices provide information about the AMOUNT of electrical activity.

Hope you all did well!

For Raffi the dog, I wrote:
-Raffi's behaviour of barking was voluntary which is characteristic of operant conditioning, whilst in classical conditioning it is involuntary.
-The use of punishment by the owner is unique to operant conditionin.
-The dog played an active role in the behaviour of barking, whereas in classical its passive (idk if that even made sense)
