just heard da poor melbourne high guy's sulfuric acid incident and now i am scared, and my lab partner is quite naughty(careless).

Cant you just wear full protective laboratory clothing and a breathing apparatus for any harmful vapors?

If you are not provided with protective clothing and breathing apparatus it is a violation of the Chemical safety procedures and could be deemed dangerous to the safety of all students.
