HELP PLEASEE!!! I missed my application deadline!!!

I could not believe it - today, I opened up an email for Monash Dean's Rural List Medicine and the APPLICATIONS CLOSED YESTERDAY. There is no way I can get into medicine without this - I don't know what to do :( Applications closed, today is a weekend, so there's no hope contacting them and if I can't apply, I am completely screwed for my chances of Med.
Please help, I really don't know what to do right now.

Best thing is to call them first thing on Monday morning or e-mail them. =/

I hate to say it, but Monash are very tight on their deadlines and in general as well.

You would need a good reason for them to accept it. =/

Good luck but I don't think they will make an exception.  After all, there are already so many applicants applying.  So they don't really care if they lose one applicant.

I'd say you have a chance. At the first lecture last year they asked us if anyone was from a rural area so that they could meet some quota they had for the Dean's Rural List.

Okay, thank you everyone. I'll explain the situation on Monday, see what comes of it. If there's an unfortunate resolution, then...I'm one who  believes things happen for a reason. Right now, focus is exams.

Are you sure they closed yesterday? Because I got the same email to apply for DRL, and on mine it says the closing date for applications is tomorrow, 3rd November at 5pm.

I'd say so - I listed DRL Med as one of my preferences and got sent the email. I can't explain the different deadlines though...
