ATAR requirement to get into my course

Hey guys, I want to do a Bachelor of Software Engineering at Monash and was wondering if I get an 81 ATAR and the cut off is the same as this years, which is 85.05, will I get in, considering I will probably net 6 aggregate points from middle-band and I am from an underrepresented school at Monash.

Did you apply for SEAS? I think that being an under-represented school is taken into account only under SEAS.

Sometimes it might not be enough either. So it probably won't be made available to you on December 16 with the Round 1 Offers, but you may have a chance in the Round 2 Offers.

If that doesn't work, then you would need to get into a similar course, and then internally transfer depending on what Uni, and what your grades are.

I thought offers came out on January 17th.

You may have a spot in the course depending on the demand. No one knows right now though even Monash University couldn't give you an answer. The best you can do is try to get the 85.

My careers counselor just said to tick category one when applying and Monash will do the rest.

I think underrepresented schools can be done automatically as it's recorded what school you go to. That being said you should always apply to every category you qualify for.

I'm pretty sure with the bonus points+SEAS an ATAR above 80 will get you in. Don't get complacent though-always good to do your best and getting above the clearly in saves you stress as to whether or not you will make it in between results and offers coming out

My course is 93.something and I got 88.90...it's definitely possible with seas

ATAR of 81 = 142.2

Aggregate of 147.2 = 84 ATAR
