Overseas exchange for com/eng?

Has anyone done this? I'm looking at going to Europe (maybe the netherlands) and I'm a bit confused on how to set it all up. I'm finishing second year this year and would like to exchange second semester 2014.

With a double you don't get many electives, so if anyone has any advice that would be great. Do you do only engineering units or commerce units, or can you do both?

There are forms you need to fill out like your personal details and what units you want to study overseas.
Go onto the study abroad website which has tons of info and links you to overseas available units.
You better hurry though cause you need to have your study plan of units into your faculty by the e d of this month for approval for second semester next year. Keep in mind it takes a while to do your study plan.
You can do both units but your faculty will approve of them if they are about 80% similar to monash subjects. Maybe make an appointment with a monash abroad person and each faculty has a person who can help with subjects.
But you better hurry! Good luck

The faculty is really the best people to contact. We can only help you so much but its their job to deal with these things all day. If we give you faulty advice, you can be up shit creek with no one to blame. If the faculty give you wrong advice, its on their head.

Definitely contact them ASAP to work out arrangements and any possible scholarships monash offers (unless things have changed pretty much everyone gets a travel scholarship too).
