Omg I'm so shit at methods,  couldn't even realise to sub in 4 and 0 to find k in terms of m. I am so stupid; thinking back it was so simple FFS.

The comments above might be sarcastic but I'm not sure.
Don't misunderstand - I'm not sure if I even got 6 marks.

The last 8 marks were ridiculous. Left completely blank. Should have been a show question for the gradient of the tankent on terms of k so you could do the questions afterwards

What % of the state does everyone think will get the last few qns right?

I wouldn't be suprised if 60% left it blank. There was only one kid at my school that got it right and I had to make up an answer to continue

Exactly what I was thinking. If you didn't get the gradient, couldn't do the other questions.
The last question was difficult but I think the rest of the paper was accessible.

Don't worry. The gradient was different so (4,0) was no longer on the tangent

The last questions was absolutely horrible how do we work out the equation of the tangent with no points

Seriously that k question. I knew what needed to be done for the very last page, I just couldn't find the gradient in terms of k.

Last page blank, gah! I didn't even have time to go over my other questions (so so so many errors!)
Was that exam harder than previous ones or is it just me? :/

Yes, my last page is blank too. I put something down for part c as a guess in the last minute.

This wasn't even the last question lol it was to find velocity of the train.  I didn't even attempt the last question.  Oh well. 50/80 hopefully.

Also that transformation question wtf? How can you multiply the image of two points to get a number? Just super confused :(

In my opinion, the paper was moderate (neither hard/easy) but the last question is what's going to differentiate the top from everyone else.

I thought multiple choice was tougher this year. ER was alright except the last parts of question 4 which were just brutal.

also I got the maximum speed of Tasmania Jones rollercoaster at 1.7 km per hour... oops.
