And what a boring Tasmania question so disappointed!!
Hello, look at the questions, now back to me, now back to the character's name, now back to my username.  Sadly, he isn't me, but he is my dad. Look up to your post reply, now back here, what did you just say? You said the questions are boring? My dad never disappoints anyone. I'm on a chair.

Anybody get 336 meters as an answer for one part in qn 3 or am I just wrong?
Oh crap, I just realized I forgot the square root when I was working out the distance. Would have gotten 336 metres as well otherwise :/

God damn I stuffed up the last 6 marks and only had time to fix 4 of them, so I tanked the last 2 marks, one minute from 80/80! I blame Tasmania Jones, hope he falls off his ride, sinks to the point G and dies. Anyway, I found the paper doable but some questions quite tough, especially that MC question with related rates (Q12?) I haven't really done full past VCAA Exam 2's under those conditions, was it harder than usual this year?

I was paranoid during the exam. Every time my calculator screen turned off I got a mini heart attack :/
For the last question I ran out of space and had to write on the blank page beside it. Will they accept it? I wrote the question number beside in case.

I can't believe I didn't get those P'X' questions now... I thought it meant multiplied together but it was just a line segment...
I sat there for like 5 mins thinking how the heck do you multiply co-ordinates??

I'm not a particularly strong methods student, but every single person in my cohort found that exam difficult.
I think everyone has got to agree that the last 6 or so marks of the paper weren't achieved by the vast majority of students.
I can just see the assessors report now 'this question wasn't well answered.'
Fingers crossed that we'll all gain the marks we want.
It's done! :)

So considering last year's A  cutoff was 61.5/80, what do people think this year's will be?
Most of the people I've spoken to said that they found the exam much tougher than previous years, but I have a suspicious that the reason for that may just be the pressure of doing it "for real", rather than at home/in class.

I think it would be similar to last year. Probably 55-60.

I found the gradient.

Almost. I chose the wrong root. (I did positive instead of negative)
So I couldn't obtain feasible answers (within given domain etc.) for the following parts and ended up leaving them blank...
So close yet so far...

Shattered as.  :'(
