Has anyone started full on proper revision for exams (2-3 practice papers per day etc) yet?

I have for methods, yes. Maybe not 2-3 a day, that's a bit too hardcore, but minimum 1 exam a day. Have you? :)

I wouldnt even be able to do 2-3 per day while I still have classes if I wanted to... that's absolutely crazy. Even if they're only 2 hour exams that's still 4-6 hours on top of homework minimum. (No thanks)

that's a bit ridiculous don't you think considering each exam goes for a couple of hours?!

unless you're a master of time management, then I salute you

you guys are so hardcore, my ATAR is finished

Yeah maybe 2 -3 per day right now is a bit unrealistic... but probably would start doing that amount during these upcoming holidays.

I didn't say that I'm doing that right now :P that would be insane! I was just wondering if there are any of you guys as  hardcore as that haha :P

and don't say that... I'm sure you'll do well!

Hey

Where do you guys usually do your exams in?

I can't find a place to do my exams in. A quiet room is all I need but I don't have that.
I get interrupted almost every 20 minutes at home, and if I try to do that at school it's too loud...

Where do you think is the best place to do your exams?

It depends on how I'm doing my exams. Last year when I was starting out, I did exams at home with un-timed conditions before I eventually travelled after school to a suburban library to do exams in timed conditions since most students tend to go home after school anyway leaving most libraries free of space (with the exception of a few like Glen Waverley but generally south-east suburbs have quiet libraries).
I chose to do my exams in a suburban library rather than say at school or at Monash Uni simply because it was closer to home and I could find cheap food outside since most suburban libraries are located near shops :)

There's an asian tutoring place (breakthrough) that encourages all students to do one exam a day. After 6 weeks, there's one kid who's done half the recommended amount and this place produces like 3-4 99.95s every year. 3 a day is pretty unrealistic, even in the Term 3 Holidays. 2 a day during the holidays is probably something that's recommended, and less than 1 is probably insufficient (during the holidays that is) given how close we're approaching exams.

Home is quite optimal for me. My parents used to interrupt me with their asian dramas until I had a talk with them (they stopped watching it and now it's pretty perfect).
Otherwise, state library (there's a really silent room near the top floors, forgot the name) is a good place.

Yay chess!

I'll play you if you're not a god like fruitcake
