VCE Year 12 Class of 2015

I've just had a look at the email headers. The final received line (Received: from stan.its.monash.edu.au (stan.its.monash.edu.au [130.194.13.165])) indicates that it really did come from somewhere on Monash. But my guess is that it was just a mischevious student or something.

Also, I'm not sure how, but if anyone knows how to work out whether email headers have been forged, here's mine:

For those wondering why it is monash.edu instead of monash.edu.au is because that is actually their domain. If you go to monash.edu.au you will be redirected to monash.edu. In that regard it is all normal.

The email header looks fine too but I am no expert on the matter.

Most likely it was just a stuff up from some staffer who accidentally sent these emails with information given to them from VTAC for the purposes of scholarships, SEAS and so forth.

I didn't get it either. I was working under the assumption that maybe it was only sent to people who have the pre reqs for a business course (Maths Methods) which made me think it was legitimate. But if Alter hasn't got it, and he has Methods then I don't know whats going on here.

I think a little pre-ATAR paranoia is setting in guys If people who didn't put Comm down are getting this email, I think it's safe to say the best thing to do is ignore it. Everyone get back to their Netflix or first year uni pre-readings, it'll all be ok

unis accidentally send out emails like that all the time. i remember i got one from ANU for the course that was my first pref there and i was super stoked until they sent out a "plz ignore that last email" HAHAHAH have fun anyway with the pre-atar hype guys !!

I know someone that got a TAFE scholarship and didn't apply to TAFE lol. I know people that didn't do any maths and got the email.  As mentioned before, scholarships based on atars are offered after results come out.
