Didn’t consent to have my results published in the newspaper for the same reason lol. I’m not even sure whether I really want to see them  :P

Well at least you could do that. My parents told me I was 'scared' if I didn't sign it.

Voila, now i'm going to get completely r***d in the a**

omg I actually gave consent lol :/
because my class teacher said that we should sign it, in case our name comes up on google searches and we could be offered scholarships blah blah

but I'm not even gonna get 40+ so there's no point in me signing :P

I couldn't sign up for the SMS thing cos I'm with TPG
so I have to go online and do it
idk if I'm gonna do it myself or get a friend to do it for me tbh :/

I'm probably gonna go check Herald Sun first to see if my name comes up (which it won't lol)

Does Herald Sun publish the over 40s at the same time or later?

1 day later so smarmy keen kids can't go over to the newsagency at 12am in the morning to get a sneak peek of what their results entail.

Imagine getting called at 2am telling you that you're going to die during Armageddon 5 hours later and you better prepare yourself in 5 hours.

Yeesh well at least your parents know what's going on in the world of VCE (my parents don't know that Monday is Results Day which I guess is fortunate for me :P )

One year Herald Sun screwed up and published people's scores over 40 a bit earlier than 7am (I think it was at 3am since I remember seeing the post on AN back in 2012) but I don't think they'll screw it up like back then... you should be fine though and I reckon you shouldn't get your friend to do it for you (just have a look at it yourself and go from there I suppose :) )

oh okay thank you, I guess I'll see on the day then :(

I think my parents would demand to see my scores
I probably won't tell anyone else though but I guess people would still find out...

and our teachers know our scores too!
I'm so scared about how they're gonna react
when my methods teacher sees my score she'll be like "I told you so!" :(

My mum has been counting down until Monday -.-
like once every 3 nights she dreams about my results and tells me -.-

Why shouldn't I get a friend?
omg, I don't think I'd be able to do it myself lol :L

I dunno... if I were in your situation I wouldn't purely because I wouldn't want someone else other than myself to tell me my scores, sharing VCAA numbers/birth of dates with other people plus I guess it's a little life lesson in some sense where you learn to deal with the stress that's been building up for so long :P

Same way as to how you would find your results for your other 3&4 subjects :)
It'll just give you three numbers for the three components that the GAT assessed you on (English Writing, Humanities (Comprehension) and Maths/Science).

G.G

The thing is that my parents didn't know that I didn't give consent, because I signed the form at school. I only told them after and they told me I was scared. The main reason is that I don't want my tutor (doesn't tutor me for this particular subject) to stalked my results because I'm pretty sure he would, he's not creepy just kind of interested that's all. And he's also expecting me to do really well (high 40s) even though he knows nothing about the subject.

oh okay thank you, I guess I'll see on the day then :(

My dad told me that I have to open the envelop myself... because he wants me to see my results first

Is anyone else terrified to find out their results?

Most of us are lol. Not terrified but scared for life.  :P

Dat Latin scaling :P

I suppose I like to stalk people too I guess :/ :P

idk I think my mum will stand behind me when I access my results on the computer
or she'll just ask me in the morning and be like "oi, what were your scores"
