No point stressing about it now! I'm just watching youtube lol..
Btw mind I ask how you felt you went in the oral?

I was freaking out (really scared) outside the room, but when I walked in I did a big (fake) smile and yeah I just smiled the whole time.

I wouldn't say I spoke THAT well but I don't know. They will probably know that my oral was memorized and I couldn't fully answer all their questions...but yeah, idk how I feel tbh...wbu?

Good luck for tomorrow btw :-*

Yeah I had to travel like two hours to get to some crazy big school in Geelong. When I walked in there was like two nice ladies, and for some reason my chinese teacher said we all had to bow and say 老师们好 as we waked in, but I guess she was wrong cause they just lost it- it was kinda fine after that in that I answered most of it, even though personally I swear they looked at my question and answer sheet and asked me the questions I didn't answer…

Personally I didn't think I did as well as I could (hindsight 20/20) but I did make stupid errors and didn't correct some stuff such as they asked me what chinese comedy tv shows i watched and i talked about jackie chan movie, then quickly went to take about non-comedy tv show… but they're apparently pretty damn subjective and I think they liked me so fingers crossed!

Sorry if that sounded like a rant, haha, another thing is though I look chinese so apparently they're much harsher :(

Good luck to you too! Don't forget the dictionary!

Yeah I don't really have many friends at my school lol :P

But yeah, my school is quite supportive yet competitive.

There's like 80-100 kids at my school who do Chinese or something!! Yikes!!

You know there's only like 800 in the state that do it? O.o

Is anyone planning to study whilst overseas? Unfortunately, I will be hitting the books in New Zealand. :(

Not overseas but possibly in Sydney.. I'm trying to wriggle my way out and try and stay in Melbourne for the Summer LOL

But you'll have plenty of fun whilst in NZ (great way to relax whilst studying too I guess)! Whereabouts in NZ?

Man, if you're going on holidays don't hit the books! Trust me, there's plenty of time to study when the year comes around.

I'm going to Singapore and i'll be doing all my work before and after the trip, I mean, if you're going overseas you've paid quite a bit for the trip so make the most of it haha :)

It won't be much, just a bit of work here and there.

You should definitely consider bungy jumping off the sky city tower in Auckland!

Oh that's very nice except that's nowhere near Lake Wakatipu since I would have suggested going there if you were on the opposite side of Auckland LOL.

I'm going to nowhere too! Probably working/studying LOL  :P

I only just found out my subjects which I picked but I changed my mind and I am going to change them. We only have our orientation beginning next week and we find out our teachers and timetables next year!  :o
(except for the subjects with only 1 teacher)

What subjects are you doing? :)
