I didn't make a bound reference and (legit) used it once during the exam and only for a Multiple Choice.

I think to succeed in Methods is to:
a) have a *deep* understanding of the theory. What do I mean by deep? Like literally not just regurgitate formulas (like linear approximation) but know where they come from. Easier said than done - depends on your teacher 95% of the time on how they teach! I was fortunate enough to have a really good teacher. Most textbooks (MQ or Essentials) don't have deep explanations though :S

b) Do as many practice exams as possible! At the end of the day, how well you do largely depends on how well you do in exam 2 (and exam 1, to a large extent also) and VCAA will always set questions you have never seen before (not in textbooks, bound references, tutor notes etc) and doing prac exams and able to apply them will definitely help!

Feel free to PM me about it - but yeah, I am not the best at Maths but I have made plenty of mistakes and now regret it. Would be willing to share general/subject-specific tips with you guys :)

Have any tips in English?
The word itself scares me :(

Nope :P
Like others have said I'm kind of keen too tbh.

I was more nervous for this year than I will be for next aha...

This year for methods, I found it most effective by copying out examples to remember key points/how to do certain questions. Idk but this worked for me...instead of writing notes once, I'd write it twice maybe three times.

In the holidays I hope I will get work done, but every year I do like nothing :P
I REALLY need to catch up on German now or I'm literally screwed lol - I really didn't put effort in it this year and now ugh...
moral: focus on your 1/2s  :P
