Only 50? Man we were expecting a bit more from you... -.-

Ay if you do not mind sharing, what were you averaging in the practice exams you did last year? Have you improved this year? And Im assuming you 100% all your sacs right, and what were your sac scores like last year? (Apologies for the interview, but I'm looking for something around ~40, and the highest my school has ever gotten is a 42..).

Sorry for posting it :P
Hey, at least I got you to do some work! xD

if you've got an email and if any other interested parties have one, i've got my scores in a spreadsheet (and the ones i have this year too, except they're all 95%+ and doesn't show the rise in exam scores over how many exams you do) which i can send to you :)
45+ raw score guaranteed (or 100% refund) for 2022 Methods & Specialist (other subjects also available - classes for all) register now!

Also hiring excellent Methods, Chemistry, Physics, Biology + Specialist tutors with a passion for excellence - PM me!

We also now support Chemistry, Physics and Biology!

Heya guys,

I'm sure other people have said this, but with the new term just round the corner, it can't be said often enough.

Well.  You've got through more than half this hellish year.  One day left to relax and enjoy yourself (or, more likely, last-minute-diggings-into-the-cupboard-depths for the holiday homework your teachers gave you and you chucked in the back of the cupboard).

The past is... the past.  You can't change how you went on Unit 3.  Leave it behind, move on.  Because now, you've got a new term, a fresh start.  For most of your subjects, you have ONLY set at most 25% of your assessments in concrete... with this brand new semester, YOU HAVE CONTROL of the next 75%.

It's pretty normal to slump in July/August, I don't know anyone who didn't; give yourself allowances.  But remember, you don't want to be looking back at the end of the year with regrets.  How you behave in this moment defines whether you'll be living the rest of the year with regrets or thankfulness!  Tomorrow, take some time out to think about why you care about your performance this year.  Why on earth do you bother with writing an essay when you could be curled up in bed reading Noddy and The Cat In The Hat?  You have a reason guys, think about it!

And remember my top study tip: efficiency is about being as ultimately lazy as possible; spend that time to figure out what's the minimum core you can do and learn, and you'll save yourself countless hours, stresses and headaches. ;)

Anyway, you rock guys, I've watched you and you are dedicated.  You have only to persevere that little bit longer.

You've done it this far, keep it up bby!

How does a 94% in both Unit 3 and 4 sacs plus a 90% on the exam only get you a 41.6 ss? (Legal studies)

Cos exam is technically weighted more, even if it might say 50%.

Nah, that thing probably isn't accurate like others mentioned above.

Hmm our school provides us with a "generic" form of all of our personal details including a quick summary of our VCE details too (to check if anything has changed over the holidays) so we could change it there or not, otherwise towards August/September-ish you would get the form due to VTAC and all.
I remember I declined to give my scores out last year and there wasn't any interrogation but I've heard from my friends school that everyone who scored above 40 but declined to give their scores out were interrogated for "bringing down the school" etc. :S

Ah, so the form is something we sign once a year then? In that case, I may as well wait :)

You sleep at 6am? What could you possibly be doing all morning?
I think VCAA have to uplift their max ATAR to 99.96 this year ;)

It's weird.

As soon as holidays start, you go to bed at 12-2am. Then you progressively get later and later. I started going to sleep so late that I could here the rooster next door making that noise they do when the sun comes up. Plus The Ashes are on.

Yeah, I'm f*cked for Tuesday.

Hey everyone,

In a language analysis that has an article as well as a letter to the editor, do you need to write a comparative piece? ie. do I treat the letter as an article and introduce it as well as its contention in my intro?

Yep , to comparative. And yep you should introduce its contention in the intro. And yes you treat it as article in the way you analyse ,  but ensure to specify the type of text as letter to the editor, not article .
