What the heck, they can't fail you for not doing chapter questions
VCAA doesn't indicate anywhere that chapter questions are part of an assessment criteria anyway

Yeh what the hell, sounds like bs

Problem is I'm not a good student in chem ahah
I'll call their bluff I reckon

No. Don't just call their bluff. Shove all in. Burn your textbook and write a colourfully worded letter to your subject coordinator expressing your vehement boycott of chapter questions.

P.S. What's up with bottle shops except Liquorland not serving you if you're in school uniform (or even your school hoodie)? Surely this is discrimination

It's hard to explain but basically there was a few "inappropriate" words spoken considering it was in front of the whole school (wasn't just me btw, all the house captains)

There was mention of the mysterious departure by a teacher who apparently (pretty much 100%) fucked a school captain, and also this choir teacher we had in year 7 who was creepy as fuck along with a few other inside jokes that may have crossed the line ahah

Also not the first time I've done this kinda thing (I had to give a speech to the year 11s on leadership camp of the cuff and I said that being a captain takes 0 commitment) so they were already on edge, but at the end of the day the year 12s loved it and we're done so fuck the system #yolo

that sounds awesome, my departing vice-captain speech was a bunch of bs praising the school for things that aren't necessarily true (or worthy of praise)...

LOLOL but don't you have to pretty much the same thing for Presentation Night (so maybe you could have joked around with your speech this time around)?

nope, we don't have that and they removed me from the graduation dinner gig/speech because I already did a speech/had a role in the assembly (2 paras together with the other captains...) and therefore I had already "done too much" and needed to "give others a go"...

and my school thinks they're better than they actually are so our final assembly was a 'formal event'

Oh wow that's so weird! For our final assembly we had an ensemble cast of MC's who volunteered (so about 20 people MC'd at our final assembly as well as School Captains opening and ending) but for the "formal events" such as Valedictory and later on Presentation Night, it's the School Captains speaking...
