There goes my chancellors

Fuck my life I'm so done
Nah fuck that, don't trust your post exam impressions.
You've got really high standards for yourself and it's natural that you're gonna be hard on yourself, but I'm pretty sure that you'll do way better than you think.

Fun anecdote time:
I came out of my exam like "lol gg, goodbye 40+" cos I felt like everything that could have gone wrong did. I only finished one essay and I was convinced that my lang analysis was the worst thing I'd ever written (despite spending 80 mins on it and having to rush my other essays) - it had no flow, writing was shit, arguments were shit, visual analysis was really trite, etc. I spent the next month and a half panicking about how shit my english score was gonna be, but in the end I ended up doing waaay better than I thought. Some of my friends were convinced they'd fucked it up as well, and they ended up scoring highly.

It's normal to be hyper-critical after the exam, especially if you're aiming super high, but just know that your judgment is probably a bit clouded. I wasn't there so I obviously can't say for sure that you smashed it lol, but don't work yourself up about it cos it's impossible to know how you actually did.

This applies to everyone btw, I'm just using this message as a springboard lol. I know a lot of people are probably feeling similar sentiments, so don't be too hard on yourselves. Just concentrate on smashing out your next exams from here, there's no point dwelling on what you could have done differently. And either way, you've all made it through VCE English, which is a pretty impressive feat, so congrats!  ;D

Yeeeepppp same, cunt's fucked. I said that Nguyen agreed with Bennett, mentioned nothing about his contention being contrary to Bennett's. Context prompt didn't match well with my text but I jammed my memorised piece in anyway. Ended up with 40 minutes to do Text Response.

If anyone needs me, I'll be under the Westgate masturbating with tears as lubricant.

Damn, that's really bad on their behalf, but you should've asked for extra time, maybe they would've given you some more reading time. But at least it wasn't during writing time, where every minute is probably five times as important as a reading time minute. But my condolences and commiserations, hopefully we can do better on future exams to get a 30+ ATAR hey

stupidly I didn't but that's my own fault. (I was scared that she would report me for misconduct) The invigilator was a bitch anyway and kept checking my dictionary every second time I used it.

oh and 99.90 pls, you go to MHS man there's no way you'll get a 30 ATAR

That's alright, tbh 5 mins in reading time probably isn't going to affect your score too much.

And neither will you :P All we can do is let failure motivate us to study harder for the coming weeks I suppose. Fuck the English exam

One quote - mostly likely not. Two quotes - fairly unlikely unless they're very familiar with the text
Nguyen "Mathew Nguyen, spokesperson for Tradespeople Without Borders "Speaking isn't really my strong point"
Man this guy is hella modest.  :o
