Not hard per se, but would be "less accessible" such as the d2N/dt2 one (which I screwed up too). Like the method isn't hard, implicit diff both sides and sub in dN/dt and other relevant stuff, but a lot of the people in my class couldn't get that question.

So actually I meant that I went bad coz I made silly errors so glad I had 10min at the end to double check and found a few (had N=mg at one point... lol =\) but from the general vibe of my class was that they felt it was a harder exam.

Actually I kinda liked it haha coz there was a nice balance with a lot of straight forward accessible problems. MC was pretty nice too

God dammit, that's it! I knew that method! It stumped me once before. Oh well. XD

Wonder how many kids will miss both lines on the complex diagram? I only put y=x :(

I did y=x and y=-x, not sure if right. :/

Haha, exactly (no offence stick, I feel your pain). That's what I mean by "hard" qs on this exam, no method-wise, just getting started.

I think VCAA deliberately asked us to solve that z4 question hoping we'd realise that all four solns were in the intersection so there should have been two lines... thankfully I realised that in reading time.

My condolences to everyone who missed the y=-x one, maybe vcaa's attempt at being a bit sneaky

PS: anyone else having to spam the "post" button since everyone is posting en mass? lol...

I think there's only one other thing I know for sure I stuffed up (not including silly errors). For the question where we had to calculate how far the skier slid before stopping on the ramp, I got 11.6m, when the ramp was only 10m long. XD

I forgot the second line and got the wrong angle for my vectors (I'm assuming I lost the mark in the previous question, because yeesh). I haven't checked the rest and I won't, but I felt pretty comfortable. I quite enjoyed the phone question.

I had this, then I realised my friction and gravity were in opposite directions, which they shouldn't have been.

It didn't actually state it was 10m long iirc. Although, I think I got 9.1...

Found this exam fairly difficult, definitely more than most previous years, although perhaps it was just exam conditions. Multi choice were not as straightforward as usual and of course a few tricky bits in the short answer. Happy that I made an attempt at everything though.

Yeah I think that was right. Also I think I may have stuffed up how long the person was in the air before the water. I got 2.03s, but I heard many got roughly ~2.3s or something. Other than that, I should be OK.

Stick I got 83m for that question, you win (and I knew at the time it was horribly wrong). (Same with me though, it's only thing I think I stuffed up excluding miscellaneous errors).

2.03 is right.
