It's funny coz first time I did it I put in the wrong terminals by accident and it came out really nice looking. Then I double checked, realised I'd typed in the wrong terminals and got that ugly thing :P

Hey guys, question 3, if I wrote N=403 for the asymptote is that wrong because its not exact? The exact value was e^6 , did that cost me a mark?

So pumped I got that second derivative question right according to itute, that was a mess

Wasn't the limiting value to the nearest integer? (If not... well shit)

Unless you're talking about when you graphed it, but because the domain was to t=15, there is no asymptote.

the limiting value was definitely to the integer, i'm talking graph

I think it should be alright.

hope so :)

Are the Spesh exams more easier than methods exams in recent years?

Cut offs for Spesh are soo high whilst they are dropping in methods.... Unless it's just cause everyone in Spesh is super pro...?

Are the Spesh exams conceptually more challenging? Because there's this hyped up notion of how hard Speshs compared to methods... Yet I know some people who said Spesh exam and methods exam generally are the same difficulty. Of does it just depend on the person?

Someone want to give me your thoughts?

Allso hope you guys all did amazingly well as expected.  ;D it's over so don't fret too much on results.

I don't think there should be any asymptote. Can someone confirm this? Or would they mark both of us as correct? An asymptote is defined as a line or curve that a function approaches as one variable approaches infinity. If t was limited to between zero and 15, then the function is not approaching anything.

Let's hope they mark both of us right!

*inserts rant about declining standards of spesh

I think VCAA is just trying to get more people to do spesh; enrolments have decreased. Like, there was a post somewhere about how spesh exam cutoffs have steadily increased. In 2008, it was like 69/80 and 123/160 or something. THOSE are good cutoffs.

I don't think an asymptote is correct. You're right, asymptotes can't occur in a bounded domain if a function is continuous in that domain.
