Could the 10 marker be based solely on employee relations and has anyone seen an employee relations 10 marker yet?

It could be - Who knows? ???

I haven't come across a question on it though. :)

Examiners stated earlier in the year that the 10 marker would not be from one single AOS or Unit, but a combination of several. That being said, I personally feel that the 10 marker was quite simple, once given thought. The employment cycle was fairly straightforward, and each element we had to talk about with it was clearly outlined. It could have been a lot worse indeed!

thought it was a fair question, looked simple from a glance but sort of had to be unpacked and thought about for a while

Hey what did you guys say for the last part of the question, something about how the Management style impacts the termination phase of the employee cycle?
It was the only thing I was sorta unsure about, but think I finally got it right

I basically said that 'Autocratic fosters a negative corporate culture which will cause more employees to resign. Consultative is more likely to offer voluntary redundancies, lower staff turnover'. Just more detail in the exam

Similar to me. Said termination could create more employee instigated resignations due to being in satisfied blablabla but it would help the org terminate employees in dismissal as there is no discussion about it and it's instant. I didn't say which one but I just compared by saying however a participative management style is more likely to create employee satisfaction with their job so they would not resign usually but when a manager must retrench or dismiss employees it may effect relationships built under this style and mkre employees would feel unsatisgued and possibly resign. More detail obviously and better structured, but I just gave these two examples within termination but didn't specify what id choose .

How do you reckon the marks for it? 3 for each dot point and 1 for definition of employments cycle cause I forgot to do the latter :( well ran out of time
