Met this seller 2 days ago(sat) at OW Keysborough to purchase Jack's Chemistry notes for $20. As it was not bounded as per listed, he gave discount. However on checking the notes, it was not complete. Still paid him $20 and he promised to email Notes 13 & 19.

We would like to have full refund of my money since your note is incomplete ie Jack's Chemistry notes (short of Notes 13 & 19). You promised to email us many times but never did while $20 been paid for the purchase of the notes.

I've contacted the mods for you to hopefully sort this out. Next time never transfer funds until you know you are getting everything you are paying for.

Good morning everyone, update till today:

Seller has not replied to my SMS nor sent us the 2 missed notes he promised

I should have been more careful when he asked for my name but did not tell me his name.
When he listed the notes are bounded but then he said he had to get the notes bound in OW only on saturday.
When he said he took out the notes from being bounded for exam.
The notes looked freshly copied (the highlights does not look original).
He listed complete notes for sale and I reconfirm with him to bring complete notes but after checking note 13 & 19 were not there. We still paid him bec he said "promised I will email you the notes".

And what make me angry is on saturday my 85 year old grandma, my parents and I went to OW to wait for 50 minutes bec he said he was getting his notes bound there (then he said it was long q and decided to sell to me without bounded for reduced price). Did he go to the OW service counter to get back his notes? No, he came in with the notes.

Then excuses after excuses why we still did not get the notes. These are his excuses :"Crap did I send it to wrong email?"

"I am not at home at the moment " but yet you can see him online here on AN (the green button was on).

I am writing this down to remind our young fellow ANers and myself in the future don't simply trust anyone.

This is especially worrisome. Could OP be violating copyright laws by selling photo copies?

You said you took the notes out from being bounded for reference for exam but they look freshly photocopied.

How could you "totally forget" when she had been messaging you about it, AND you had replied to those messages?

Also, if you are selling photocopies of those notes then it is pretty clearly a violation of copyright, and I'm sure Jack and Dr G would like to know about it.
