3+4 in year 10?

Before my sister did it(Psych) I had only heard of Derrick Ha.
I was wondering how common it actually is.

never heard of it, would that mean ud have to do units 1 and 2 in yr 9

Schools which have accelerated programs often do it...a few of my friends did.

They'd choose a subject which they could skip units 1+2 for, such as psych, bio, accounting etc.

I know someone's sister that did Chinese 3/4 (forgot which but it was either second language or second language advanced) in Year 10 and bet everyone else - I think a raw of 40

Ninwa (on this site) did a 3+4 in year 10 and got 50...

So, yeah, definitely go for it if you like the subject/think you'll enjoy it :)
