also, anyone who's been to this already, is it worth it?
i'm thinking of doing it for chemistry.. as i somehow find it fun teaching myself methods..

I went to the 2013 VCESS. I would definitely recommend it 
There were six 1-hour lessons for each subject and people who can give extra help with subjects in spare sessions.
Also had activities, chances to meet new people and some time to explore the Uni.

Yes; as a class syllabus is structured over six lessons, it is within a student’s best interest to attend the full two week program.

The program is $190 for the entire two weeks, and the Residential Program is $570 which provides food, accommodation and supervision for the 2 weeks of Summer School (excluding the middle weekend).

so 190$ will allow you to go to the uni, and get lectures/tutoring from every/any subject you're doing?

I'm going! I'm doing the residential program and luckily I got the KLD discount which took the price from $595 to $295. I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise
