No, but I'm interested to hear how it all went, given that I did intend to do this subject and sit this exam this year. :(

Sono qui!

I found the exam pretty straightforward, except for the first reading section (which for some reason, took me longer than I expected to complete).

Yeah, it definitely felt doable, like last year's. However I found the 2nd listening with the 3 women really confusing to figure out which voice was which character, let alone what they were intending to say.. What was with that 6 mark question for like 4-5 lines!? For the 1st reading I got really scared, there wasn't THAT much in the stimulus to begin with! The writing topics were decent and the 2nd reading was good too  :)

Ugh, I COMPLETELY agree with you! I had to listen so carefully in order to understand that bloody section. And that 6 mark question, you're right, that's what really threw me off. But hey, I'm sure you've done really really well, VCAA always likes to trick its students, and you seem pretty happy by the sounds of it.

In bocca al lupo!

Grazie mille, spero che tu riceva il tuo ATAR preferito!! A part of me really wishes that the 6 mark one was two 3-mark questions asking different things but oh well. It's actually crazy that last year A+ was 266/400 which translates to about 66.5/100 so if you factor in exam mark out of 75 plus oral mark out of 25.. it seems possible to get a 40 (hopefully!) I don't know why it's a lot lower for Italian compared to other LOTEs? Some of them like german and french have A+ cutoffs at like 90%!!

Wow, 266/400 = A+? That's impressive, and very reassuring!

For 2012 yes, well it seems that they must mark really harshly in order for it to be THAT low..  ???

Either way, these things always have a way of working themselves out...at least, I hope they do?
