Is it possible to enroll into all of your subjects and complete the 300 credit points but without enrolling into any subjects in semester 2 of second year (mind you this is possible for me as I have a number of subjects that I can complete during summer term)?? Is there a University rule that does not permit their students to this??
I am asking this because I would prefer to go overseas during semester 2 of next year due to a family matter?

Your help would be very appreciated  :D :D

How far into the degree are you? That will help clarify things a bit more.

You can't enrol for the whole 300 points at any one time. As far as I know, you can and should only enrol for the year. Eg. right now, you should be enrolling for semester 1 AND 2 of next year. You can enrol into your desired summer 2014 subjects now if you want, BUT you cant enrol into desired summer 2015 subjects until this time next year.

If you plan on enrolling in no subjects in semester 2 next year, you will need to apply for a leave of absence, otherwise your student centre will assume that you have 'abandoned' your course. Leave of absence will retain your enrolment and place, but will allow you to do what you need to do. You should go and speak to your student centre about this.
