How many of you are doing Media as one of your subjects this year? Are you guys as excited as I am? I'm hoping to get more people to post on these boards, because I feel somewhat lonely in my quest through the course.  :-\

Another media student here... I'm thinking about starting a thread for exam revision, what would you guys think??? Also, we should start posting our SATs (if you made a video) for people to watch! Mine's here :)

Okay well this year's exam cover is out (only preliminary but still), Media Texts has the highest grades allocated to it!

- the interrelationship between production and story elements in the narrative organisation of fictional narrative to structure and communicate ideas.

Basically it's asking you to describe the way in which production and story elements work together to structure and communicate 'ideas' (eg that the protagonist is the protagonist, that someone is evil or whatever). The two constantly overlap - for example, camera (production element) is often used to create the point of view from which the narrative is presented (story element).
