You can read the first chapter if you want but I'd recommend reading through the study design and looking through newspapers and online for news about large scale organisations

how much of the textbook do you think i should cover in the holidays to at least maintain and A or A+ throughout the year? I really want a 45+ raw next year and will do anything to get one haha, what will put me in the best position to get one. Obviously hard consistent work will be needed, but what can get me ready for the first sac next year.

Cheers

A friend of mine got a 50 in BM, and she didn't do anything throughout the holidays.
BM is one of my relaxed subjects, so I'll just be reading a few chapters, and do some h/w we were given.

Hey, do you work on answering or structuring your answers in a particular way?

Collect articles for company activity as you can use them as examples in your answers when you cover content later in the year. You can use the study design to find what you will be covering then find that in your textbook and read it.

what if my teacher doesn't understand the example i use from real the world, so i can even use this on the exam?  And do you recommend this?  So for e.g if a question asks 'What negativity do LSO have to the economy' i could say downsizing ….. and then say e.g last year holden downsized and this affected…… would i get full marks for that?

Make sure you print off the study design. Read through it and make sure that you know what's coming up ahead and what needs to be covered throughout the year. I would recommend reading the first 2 or 3 chapters and make notes where ever you can. Just skim over it so you have a good understanding.

Like what the other students have said, grab an old scrap book and cut out articles and stick them in. So when it comes to exam time you have all the resources needed.

Definitely! You don't have to go over board by making them very detail! If you make notes in the holidays by the time you get to school and have started your first sac you will feel more confident having the knowledge already. Then you can spend more time doing practice sacs and practice exam questions rather than stressing on doing notes in time the the sac.
