Whats NEAP?

Via a simple Google, http://www.neap.com.au/catalog/

NEAP is a company that makes study guides, has revision lectures, and so forth.

I always did Chemistry in my frees, that way I rarely did chem study at home except before SACs and I could smash down a fair few questions in a 50-min period. The unfortunate thing was most of my frees were in the morning, so I had to set out work for myself, then I got work in class after that I had to complete at home :( Other people who had frees in the afternoon could complete that work then without having to finish it after school. I had a great routine of making a coffee and just using my checkpoints book in the study area, sometimes with my iPod on. However when it got too busy, I went to the library instead :') Plus the library had heaps of chemistry resources eg. NEAP and other guides that not many people knew about haha

I always got frees at the end of the day so I just rested (not literally sleeping) and than would study at home :)

if I had energy left I would go into the art room and work on my Art folio

I think the wide variety of responses from the posters here really conveys a general message about Year 12 study - it's really about how you wish to do it. There is no one way to do it; as you can see, some people really used their study time for work, others didn't do much work in them at all. Personally, I spent some of my frees doing work (doing questions, or trying to understand material), because I knew that I wasn't a very efficient worker at home, and others listening to my friends play the piano or having a chat with them.

I had 11 frees per fortnight last year, and I honestly didn't do much.
I'm hoping to do more in them this year, but considering the number of activities and things that happened during lunchtimes, it may still be a good idea to spend them as an alternate break time :)
But overall, it's just how you want to do things I guess :P some people study better at school, others at home
