1) go into Uni portal
log in then go to this link : https://my.unimelb.edu.au/studentportal/faces/StudentAdmin/Enrollment/WithdrawFromASubject

thanks, took me ages to find it lol, used to be able to access from within the study plan itself.

I liked Short Fiction much more than Ideas and Practice (in general), consider doing that in sem2 over a breadth
Writing for Screen is also a lot of fun. A lot.

Fair enough. I'd say to probably do Chem 1 then. Great subject, very well organised, and I think it's always good to expand your expertise, whether that be in science, arts, commerce, etc.

I absolutely despise chemistry for some odd reason. I'm sorry.

Don't know why you're apologising to me, it's your loss :P

Maybe Foundations of Computing, or some other first year IT subject?

you could move linear algebra to first semester since it really doesnt require any calc2 knowledge at all and take engmath in sem 2. you only are required to take 5 first year sciences after all. :) and that allows you to take more engineering related second and third year subjects overall.
