*IGNORE THIS IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO SWEARING*

If I see that cunt in the crowd wearing the captain hat one more time, I will fucking throw a brick at my TV, track him down and punch him in the throat. Does he think he is fucking superman only wearing one costume? It gets to me how Foxsports zooms in on them after every fucking point and I can't watch the channel 7 broadcast because my TV is 80 inches and their broadcast has about one pixel of colour per 100 =/= horrible quality.
My VCE 2014 Goal is to not end consciousness ... and a respectable ATAR.

WHAT!  Pat Rafter is back?  Is this real life?  Father time caught up with him like 15 years ago, did he have a fight with Bonds or something?  The guys like 40, they should have the stretcher ready just in case he does his knee.

Also sorry for having a rant but am i the only who think sevens coverage is appalling . I mean they have 3 channels surely they can put another game on one of their other channels instead , not to mention the fucking annoying ads about my kitchen rules and all that , no one even cares , people want to watch the tennis . There cameras are horrible compared to the 1080p footage on fox . And they take an hours break just for today tonight (because apparently a lot of people watch it ) . I know it's still on seven two but still people would prefer if you didn't have to switch .

Reminds me of the Channel 9 coverage during the London Olympics... Swimming, swimming everywhere T_T

OMG YES. dear god there are other matches I want to watch. like Li Na's match this morning and they kept playing the mens and they only flashed a bit of Li Na's match every half an hour and only the last little bit when she was winning sigh. 7 and 7two and 7one, all the same thing, why do you even bother having THREE channels.

Its not 3 separate channels! Its called HD, also its called the 'Australian Open' hence there going to show the Australians play, also i recommend you buying foxtel if you want to watch Na play or you can live stream it.

It being called the "Australian Open" has nothing to do with showing Australians play. Australians want to watch Australians play, so they show it. Meh, the focus on Australian players isn't a huge issue considering most Aus players don't last very long

Why were there people dressing up as Julian Asssange and a priest? That's got nothing to do with um tennis. If it's meant to be funny, then it just makes the crowd look idiotic. I mean, it's perfectly acceptable to hold flags, signs that support your favourite player or country.

Pat Rafter is Australia's best tennis player, goes to show the talent we can produce.  We have very mediocre athletes in all sports expect AFL which is not global, but how many talented athletes do we have?  We seem to produce athletes who don't have the heart, blue collar and determination to play at the elite level, this is why Bernard Tomic will NEVER make it, he doesn't work hard enough, has relied on talent his entire career, but talent only goes so far and this is where handwork needs to kick in.  How many athletes are there from Australia who are actually franchise type athletes in their field?  None.  We have the AIS, the so called Australian institute of Sport, but yet they can't produce any quality players, back to tennis.  Every year its the same thing!  There will be one Australian tennis player who makes it passed the 1st round, and thats it.  We host the Australian open which is one of 4 grand slams  and we don't even have one player who can compete with the elite.  Why do we even host a grand slam then?

Pat Rafter is like 40 and hasn't played in a grand slam for like a decade... Besides, Hewitt and Rafter were both world number 1 at one stage. I'd say that's pretty good.
